Mandala & Identity Tree Workshop For Adopted Children

Room to Read

Room to Read is a non-profit organization that seeks to transform the lives of millions of children in low-income communities by focusing on literacy and gender equality in education. Working in collaboration with local communities, partner organizations and governments, they develop literacy skills and a habit of reading among primary school children, and support girls to complete secondary school with the relevant life skills to succeed in school and beyond. I created a collage for them to use while they held their workshops and talks to spread their goal of educating children all over the world.

West Windsor Arts Council Masquerade Night Fundraiser

For the Masquerade Night Fundraiser I volunteered with another two artists to create the backdrop. We had to work on a really small budget and make use of available materials. I reached out to the community for materials too. This was truly a community project for a good cause- raising funds for the West Windsor Arts Council in New Jersey.
